Who

The Moss Man / Tom Moss.

Tom Moss is a Frankston-based creator working across visual art, music, digital product development and symbolic systems. He creates under the name The Moss Man and produces under the studio entity Blue $nake Studio.

His work spans a connected set of disciplines that don't ordinarily appear together: painted mythology, behaviour-support tools for classrooms, digital music with street print assets, a visual number system called Moss 60 and a doctrine on language and meaning called Semantic Sovereignty.

The thread connecting all of it: patterns become worlds. The black cockatoo feather, the coiled snake, the base-60 geometry — these are the physical tokens of a single invented universe expressed across every medium the studio touches.

Tom has spent years building connected systems where a painting informs a number, a chant informs a classroom tool, and a recurring symbol threads through visual art, music, education technology and symbolic logic simultaneously.
